Przepiękne, absolutnie! od dłuższego czasu obserwuję Twoje zdjęcia w sieci z wielką ciekawością i nieustannie urzeka mnie ich klimat i Twoja wrażliwość. pozdrawiam ciepło!
Yesterday I took some pictures.Me and my models waited for sunset but the weather was cloudy.Today there are no clouds,so I'm going to take some photos.
to the anonymous person from 06:50: it's "my models and I", you wouldn't say "me waited for sunset" so saying "me and my models" makes no sense either, and "waited for the sunset", without the preposition it sounds wrong.
your English is tragic. better practice in some kind of personal journal of yours and not here, because you'll only make it worse (for those who may actually read this). they won't l e a r n anything from here, trust me.
Rose, maybe I'm wrong, but... do you translate sentences in google translator? Sometimes the sentence structure is similar to how the translator translates. Anyway, I wish you luck in learning english, this is very useful language.
I think that it's good that she learns here because people correct her mistakes so she knows what she wrote wrong :) And I do not believe that readers learn by heart her notes so she doesn't make their english worse :) and it can positively influence their ability to communicate :)
I didn't mean to upset you abour your ability to speak English... I just tell the truth like it is. Let's hope that you'll learn something and also won't hurt your readers (or, which is more likely, their good English - it may hurt them by reading what you post here. And some things a r e on a very low level).
By the way, maybe it is critisism, but is not constructive. You didn't written what can I do to be better, I don't know what can I do to be better. Polish language is hard for person who isn't from Poland. For me is easy, because I LIVE HERE, I don't live in England or other country so I can't be the best, but I try (to) be better... Of course I'm sorry for my MISTAKES, but I hope you will understand.
we can talk whenever you want, because I'm from Poland and I know polish language very well, even better than English. ; ) ok, so here are just a few things called 'What can I do to be better': 1. watch a lot of movies, tv series in that language, without subtitles and try to understand as many as possible 2. read, read, read, read. 3. learn from music lyrics.
these are just examples, but that's how you can improve language every day and have fun by doing it. I was just meant to say that maybe blog's not the best idea for someone who doesn't actually speak well. but I'm sure that in the closest future, you will. it's good for you that you're trying. some people are not capable of this. so excuse me, if I was being a little to hard. and once again: I also live in Poland. : )
bardzo fajny sposób na przyswajanie języka! Prosty, ale nie patrząc- przyzwyczajając się do pisania tylko po angielsku można się czegoś nauczyć a przede wszystkim poćwiczyć. Podoba mi się! :)
It's funny because if you see her mistakes you should tell her. Criticising is not the best way because she wants to LEARN english. and fluency is more important than correct english :) maybe her english is far from perfect but she's only 16. :) @Rose: we say '...what I can do better' and 'I don't know what I can do to ...' because these are not questions :)
I didn't say that you do nothing. but remember, reading is as important as watching movies. I'm 17 and I've been learning English since I turned 8 or 9. why? : )
Rose, don't be nervous. Don't be offended by criticism, even if you think it's too little constructive. I think that nobody here wants to prove that you're hopeless, we just want to help you. :) Good luck.
To the Anonymous, whichever number in the anonymous line you are, there are too many to keep track of (a disclaimer if I offend the wrong one). If you're going to correct her, or anyone for that matter, I suggest you look at your own English first cause I can sure find mistakes in yours too. Don't sit there sounding like yours is perfect cause you have some things you can work on as well. And as for fluency in relation to correct English, you can't be fluent if you aren't speaking correctly. You just can't.
To Rose, ignore the ignorant. I don't even know why people waste their time knocking on someone who is trying to do the right thing.
'you can't be fluent if you aren't speaking correctly. You just can't.' Interesting. So you claim that people who make mistakes are not fluent ? I can show you thousands of people who make a lot of mistakes and at the same time speak fluently, because they just don't care about grammar rules and so on, so they don't know if they are correct or not! :)
I'm sorry, I teach first graders and as a teacher, and what you are saying goes against everything I do. I teach kids fluency, and that includes being able to decode and pronounce correctly. Actually speaking (or reading) correctly, without mistakes to impede you is one of the major factors that impact fluency. It's like saying milk is without dairy, correctness is inherent to fluency.

ReplyDeletewell, I guess you're just too childish yet to take critisism calmly. maybe you'll grow up some day and see what I was talking about.
ReplyDeleteWhen you learn polish language, we will talk :)
